Auto Part Warehouse Sale: Tips on What To Look For Reselling

We had a great time at our auto part warehouse sale last weekend, and we are looking forward to another on September 26th! We sold a ton of parts for great prices, a win-win for everybody. Thank you to all who came out! Don’t worry, we have more auto parts on their way, and we would love to see you out there. We host them in Chandler, 85226, behind our warehouse on Chandler Blvd., next to the I-10.

We started out a few years ago just doing liquidation, and we have seen so many unique things within the past few years- from vintage pieces to “what the heck is that?” pieces. If you are thinking of starting to resell items, we can tell you that it is worth it, but like anything that creates an income, it’s not as easy as it looks!

We always start by finding out what we are actually looking for. Maybe you are interested in furniture, tools, electronics, home goods, or something totally different. From there, you have to figure out where you are going to sell the items, what people are actually willing to pay for them, and how much work you are willing to put into cleaning, testing, photographing, listing, storing, and eventually selling everything.

That is one of the biggest things people sometimes overlook when they first get into reselling. Buying the inventory is only the beginning. A pallet may look like a good deal when you see the retail value of everything inside, but retail value does not mean you are going to sell every item for that price. Some things may need to be tested, some may need to be cleaned, and some items may sit for a while before the right buyer comes along.

That does not mean buying liquidation inventory is not worth it. It just means you have to do your homework. The more you learn about what sells, what your customers are looking for, and how much you can realistically make on an item, the better you will get at choosing inventory.

We get liquidation inventory from different sources and bring it into our warehouse in Chandler. What ends up in a pallet can vary quite a bit, which is part of what makes liquidation interesting and always something new! You might open a box and find something you have never seen before, or you may get repeats of something you already have.

If you are new to reselling, we recommend starting small. You do not need to buy a huge amount of inventory right away. Start with products you understand, learn what sells in your area, and keep track of what you spend versus what you make.

And if you are in the Phoenix area and want to see what we have available, you can always stop by our Chandler warehouse or contact us about our current pallets. We are happy to tell you what we have coming in and help you get started.
